If you knew anything about the Chinese Zodiac, you’d know that 2025 marks the year of the Wood Snake. And, if like me, you are kind’ve a nerd about symbols and motifs throughout the history of time (*as I say this, imagine the Ancient Aliens Meme*), then you’d be pretty stoked.
In the Chinese zodiac, the snake is known for its wisdom, strategic thinking, and quiet strength—qualities that many of us already lean into daily. Add the Wood element, which brings growth, creativity, and flexibility, and this year has all the makings of something special. It’s a time to think long-term, trust your instincts, and take intentional steps toward your goals.
I’m feeling good about the snake being my symbol for 2025. After a tough year of asking myself, what do I really want? And trying on the answers to that question like hats in a store, I’m excited to enter into a path grounded in intuition and strategy.
What I love about the energy of the Wood Snake is that it focuses on collaboration and resourcefulness. This entrepreneurial game isn’t about doing it all on your own, actually, it never was, was it? It’s about leaning into partnerships, nurturing your dreams, and finding smart, creative solutions to challenges. Whether you’re starting something new or scaling what you’ve already built, 2025 is the year to take a deep breath, get strategic, and build a business that feels as good as it looks.

Whether you’re launching a new business, scaling an existing one, or can feel your life’s calling tugging at your heart this season, the Wood Snake has a little magic to offer. Here’s a guide to channeling and alchemizing that Wood Snake energy.

Snakes don’t rush into anything—they’re calculated, calm, and always one step ahead. This year, take a page from their book. Instead of jumping on every opportunity, ask yourself:

- Is this a “hell yes” or just a distraction?
Map out your next steps with intention, whether it’s a new product launch or building a dream team. The Wood Snake is all about playing the long game. Struggle with long-term thinking? Steal tricks from your idols–devour their content, interviews and triumphs, and map out what’s next for you in 2025.
